SUMMARY: A1000 Battery still failed after replace

Thanks for all the replies.

One person recomended BIOS upgrade and a number thought waiting longer up to 24 hours would help.

The issue was that the replacement battery ended up also being bad. Luckly I had ordered a few as spares since I know the other A1000's are near their end of life.

So I guess as a heads up, some of the current 'new' A1000 batteries out on the market might be infact 'reconditioned' or there just maybe a bad batch. I noticed the manufactor date was 2/03.
