password aging

Hi ,

I have 100 users with accounts created in NIS.
now i want to enable password aging like users has to
change the password for every 20 days, and it has to
send warning mail before 2 days to expire.

can i do the same with shadow file.?
if so, can u give me one sample entry in shadow file.?
