vi : Tmp file too large

Hi Guru.
 
when i was read large file using vi, got a message "Tmp file too large".
 
so i chage the tmp directory and chage  the directory permission(sys:sys,
1777)
 
and try it again. but i got same results.(Tmp file too large)
 
tmp disk available size is enough.
 
how can i do?
