Dear managers, thanks a lot for the many responses. Richard recommmended to give the Sun StorEdge DAT 72 Tape Drive a try. It was also recommended to check out www.amenda.org and possibly sync to a SATA-array. I will evaluate both approaches! Thanks a lot! Regards, Andreas
