NFS spaghetti

Hi,
I've just found a system that's been setup to have the same NFS share mounted
simultaneously at two distinct locations on the same machine. I think this may
be a BAD IDEA. Further the mount points for the share are on top of what is
already an automounted location. The back end NFS box is an EMC Celerra.
I'm concerned that we could end up with cyclic/recursive links or that it may
just play havoc with the NFS daemons.
Am I correct in my concerns or I am worrying needlessly?
Cheers
Joe
