followup to the summary of 'where do the files go?'

Thank you all for your replies.

I applied 100462-14 to the filemgr, and now we get the following
problem:

        Some people's .wastebasket directories are being replaced by a
        file named .wastebasket (often several times a day) that drives
        the file manager nutty. Is there another patch still to apply,
        or should I go back to the old version, with a bug that strikes
        less often?
