My SunOS 4.0.3 source for ypserv DOES have a '-i' flag which, along with
the '-b' option to makedbm, triggers the ypserv <-> resolver connection.

The gotcha about the resolver is making sure you have a 'domain' entry
in /etc/resolv.conf, else the YP domain name is used as the Internet domain
name (talk about overloading).

I use this combination under 4.0.3 and it works.
